about the holistic approaches in our projects

At our Centre you can rest assured that you are cared for by people who are professionals and genuine in their wish to help others.

Holistic approaches sees each person as an individual and as a whole and takes into account all aspects of his or her needs, including psychological, physical, emotional, social and spiritual. In using a holistic approach to your health and wellbeing you can gain and maintain optimal health much quicker.

The general holistic overview is that we have a physical, an emotional, a mental an energetic body and a spiritual body. They operate as one interconnected system. These bodies differ in a vibrational level, and most people can only see the physical body. A well trained, gifted and intuitive person recognises and sees all bodies.

Any holistic work you do, be it one-to-one or group work, can have an affect in all bodies and they are equally important.

Doctors look after the physical body, phychotherapist, counsellors look aftet the emotional body, psychiatrists look after the mental body, energy workers look after the energetic body and spiritual practitioners look after the spiritual body.

What affects one body affects the other bodies, and being aware of how this happens will help you a great deal in achieving balance. The flow of energy needs to run through all our bodies freely for us to feel healthy and balanced.

Holistic health approaches will help you to do just that. You are probably already doing many things to help. The fact that you are reading this website means that you are taking steps in being responsible for your own health and not always waiting for something to go wrong and then expecting someone outside of you to "fix" you. This is not to say that you should not see doctor when you are unwell. On the contrary, they provide a vital and merciful service to heal your physical body and trying to do completely without a doctor can be a terrible mistake.

It is important that the person looking after you, and you yourself, recognise that you have different bodies and that you will need help from different people along the path.

If we look at long standing pain for example: Holistically we would look at the root cause of that pain not just the symptoms. For example we would ask: Is my pain coming from my childhood wounds? Is there a part of my emotional body that is in pain and I am feeling that pain in my physical body?

When you are ready to ask yourself those questions you are ready to look at the pain with a completely different point of view. We call it a holistic view because you are no longer just looking at the physical body, you are now seeing yourself as a holistic being and the work you will do to resolve the problem will be much deeper then just taking a pill.

about one-on-one holistic therapies

This will depend on how much support you need. As a general guideline, if you are trying to change long standing problems, we recommend for holistic sessions two a Month and for the shamanic session once a Month for a period of 6 Months to a year. It is very important to have time between sessions for integration of the work done.

With one session you will only scratch the surface. If you want to really see changes, plan to support yourself for a minimum of 6 months to 1 year. People with long standing problems who plan and follow 6 months to 1 year of support see real differences on themselves.

A time between sessions is very important and we call it the integration time. If you do too much work at once, your "system" can be overloaded and no changes happens.

A practitioner who is a professionaly qualified and experienced practitioner is able to advise you further about the right holistic approach for your issue. However it is important to remember that he or she is limited to the area they are trained on. Always do your home work and research about the person as well.

What you discuss in your practitioner in a session is held in confidence. Professional practitioners work to a strict code of ethics and professional practice. Only if you were at serious risk to yourself or others, particularly children, or if the law required it, would your th discuss with you the need to make information known to anyone else.

All therapies are potentially beneficial in one way or another. It is best if you choose an area or an issue you would like to work on. This will help you to focus and tackle the problem more efficiently.
