How to get to Planetary Healing Centre in Portobello:

Buses: buses numbers 26 and 15 to the door or numbers 12, 21, 42 or 49 to Portobello Town Hall and the Planetary Healing Centre is a short stroll east on the High Street. There is free parking nearby and the Centre is easy to reach with public transport. You can also combine a visit to our Portobello Centre with a day by the seaside!


From the airport: Take a bus to the City Centre and from there take any of the above buses to Portobello.


Coming from Glasgow or Fife: Take City bypass direction South. Take A1 direction to Musselburgh and Portobello. We are at the High Street, green corner shop not far from the Twon Hall.


Getting to the Nature Connection for families in Balerno

We have a mini bus going to Dr Bells and YMCA in Leith to pick up families to come to Nature Connection in Balerno. Places are reserved for families booked in the project.


Balerno is located in the South West of Edinburgh, 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh city centre, 30 min by bus from city centre, 10 minutes driving from the City bypass, 45 minutes by car from Glasgow city centre.


By bus from Edinburgh: bus 44 from City Centre takes around 30 minutes to get to Balerno Village. Stop at the 3rd bus stop after the roundabout. From there it is a 15 minutes walking at Cockburnhill Road in the countryside. Contact us for the full address or if your family needs a lift from the bus stop: 075 0443 87 63.


By car from Edinburgh: From the city centre in Edinburgh, go in the direction of Lanark Road West, pass Juniper Green and Currie villages. Balerno is the next Village. See directions above. Plenty of parking spaces in the countryside where we are.


By car from outside Edinburgh: Follow directions to A71. At Hermiston Gate Park and Ride roundabout turn left, at next roundabout pass Herriot What University on your right, keep going straight ahead up the hill pass another roundabout, keep going up the hill until you come to Main Road called Lanark Road West where you turn righ. Pass Currie village and Balerno is the next Village. See directions above.
